In a “red-letter day” for the West Flint Optimists at the December 28 Breakfast Meeting, Lieutenant Governor Bill Reaves (far left in photo) is shown leading the recitation of vows for new and Board-approved members Natalie Fox (2nd in photo), owner of Red Fox Realty, and Karen Lorenc (3rd in photo), Director of Flushing Christian Outreach. After the formal initiation, President Cindy Sullivan (far right in photo) presented membership pins to the welcome additions to our Club and reopened fines so that the new members could add to our “50/50 Progressive Pot” with payments for “having been members of the Club for several seconds but not yet acted on the Club’s behalf to promote international accord or engaged in any Club service projects.”
We are fortunate and grateful fo these new members and are pleased to announce that this is the first time that the Club has taken in 2 new members on the same date.!
